Wake up call

I love the weekends. Instead of waking up my kids to drag them off to daycare, they wake me up. They're usually pretty generous with how late they let me sleep - this morning my wake up call came at 9 am.  And what a face to wake up to!  I'm always baffled on how Alex gets into his morning position: it varies between 90 and 180 from how I left him.  Here's a 90 degree turn.

Bright eyed and bushy tailed!

I had a realization today that I'm no spring chicken.  It happened as I was trying to figure out my fancy new smartphone, and realized the technology was way beyond me.  It reminded me of my Dad's inability to access and send an email without help.  How did this happen?  I've never been that tech savvy, but until now I thought I could navigate my way through most anything.  Give Ben 5 years and I'm pretty confident he'll be teaching me how to use the latest way over my head gadget.

I got some pictures back from a friend that took some photos for me and my sister-in-law halloween weekend, so thought I'd share some of my favorites. Thanks Laura!

Ben and the babies

What's cuter than a naked baby in a pumpkin patch?

All smiles - this must have been at the beginning of our photo session.

Peek a boo!  Alex was totally fascinated by his skeleton encased hands so he kept staring at them.

Star wars characters. Chewie is not very happy.  This must have been towards the end...
