I should have taken advantage of the long weekend and caught up on that interrupted sleep but too much to do! We had a good snowstorm Sunday with the best packing snow. Ben and I built a snowman (he lasted for all of 2 minutes before someone punched and kicked him to the ground "it wasn't me it was the bad guy"). And I tried my hand at a snow cave which turned out to be more of a rabbit burrow. Winter can stick around a little longer if it'll continue to behave by only snowing on the weekends and providing this kind of snow.

Oh sleep...
I'm sure all parents of little ones feel this way, but I yearn for the day when I can again have a solid night's sleep or sleep in until noon (I'd settle for either!) Here's a recap of last night: crawled into the bed at 11 pm. 4 am - Ben makes an appearance. Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle. 5 am - Alex wakes up. I was happy to lay in the guest bed with Alex to get away from the squirmy 3 year old but just as I was drifting off again he discovered I was gone and snuck into the guest bed. "Ben" I say "You're squishing Alex, why don't you go cuddle with daddy". "But he sounds like a monster" he replies. Well yes, that would be the snoring.
