Did you miss me?

Well that was quite a hiatus from blogging. My last post was over four years ago - 4 YEARS people. A lot can happen in four years. Thanks to Facebook and Pinterest, you have not been left in the dark. But here's a quick recap just in case you need it. Since my last blog post we've -

  • Moved 3 times to 3 different cities in Colorado (we bought a house in Greeley, a city of about 100,000 5 months ago. It's in between Denver and Cheyenne.) A fun fact: the name of the subdivision we live in is named Virginia Hills. I was not aware of this until we signed. My husband insists this means he's fulfilled his promise to move me to Virginia. Good try buddy. It's a nice enough place but it is no Virginia.
  • Changed careers and authored a book (Dave). Shameless plug: the book is called A New Awakening by David Munson. You can download it on a Kindle or the Kindle App.
  • Became a La Leche League Leader and started a small business (Cara).
  • Graduated from Kindergarten- Third Grades, learned to ride a bike, rock climb and ski, got baptized, became a scout and developed a passion for all things sports, especially football (Ben)
  • Graduated from Kindergarten, learned to ride a bike and tie his shoes and developed a passion for art (Alex)
  • Learned to crawl and walk, and talk, started preschool, learned to ride a bike and write her name and developed a passion for all things adventure (climbing trees, bike riding, roller skating, you name it) (Emily)
  • Had another baby (Zachary Vaughan, born 7.27.15). We're done, barring a vision or a miracle;) So far Zachary has mastered crawling and having his adoring family wrapped around his finger.

That last 2012 post may have hung out there in eternal blog land forever had I not happened across my blog the other night. I read all of my posts in one sitting and realized what a great treasure of memories it was for our family. So here's another attempt at consistent blogging, purely motivated by selfish desires. But I hope family and friends, grandparents most especially, get some pleasure out of it as well.
