From mouse to howler

When Alex was a tiny baby, we called him mouse because he made the cutest little squeak noises.  Those squeaks have progressed into yells.  He's so funny, he yells all the time and often for no apparent reason.  I think he just likes the sound of his own voice.

Here's a picture of his booger covered face.  When he's tired, he rubs his nose back and forth into the shoulder of anyone who's holding him.  My sister-in-law was watching him today and he fell asleep on her, resulting in boogers all over her shirt and all over his face. I can't believe my little howler will be 6 months old next week!

Both my kids are growing up too fast.  I went to Kid-to-Kid today to buy 4Ts for Ben - he's outgrown most of his 3Ts .  The style of the clothes just seemed so much more grown up.  And the themes have changed from Disney to superheroes, which is exactly how his tastes have progressed lately.  This is his last month of nursery too; next month he'll be in primary with me. I'm not sure I'm ready for my baby to be a big boy.

Ben's Quote of the Day: (Background - I'm trying to explain about how some people look different, by pointing out the guy standing at the bus stop we're passing who only has one leg.)  "Did the bad guys sword his leg off?"
