A couple of weekends ago, we headed to Vernal, Utah to go to the LDS temple and checked out some dinosaurs on the way back. Vernal is home to the dinosaur quarry - this wall of dinosaur bones that were uncovered onsite. It's this crazy conglomeration of bones. The theory is, there were 2 rivers that came together and so it was a gathering place for dinosaurs to gather and drink. But there were also frequent floods that would drown dinosaurs, mud would build up on top of them and the floods just kept on coming so it created this wall of fossils. I was impressed and Ben liked that he got to touch real dinosaur bones.

| This picture doesn't do the quarry justice but can you see all the bones? |
